Back in 1982, goldsmith P. Enevoldsen and his wife established the jeweler’s shop that would one day become PANDORA in modest surroundings on a street called Nørrebrogade in Copenhagen, Denmark. They often traveled to Thailand in search of jewelry to import, and as demand for their wares increased, the company focus shifted to the wholesale business. In 1999, PANDORA launched its ever-popular line of charm bracelets in the Danish market. Consumers quickly embraced the concept, and PANDORA grew hand-in-hand with the increase in demand. Jewelers in foreign markets began to show an increasing interest in selling the company’s jewelry, turning PANDORA into a global brand that is currently sold in 18 countries. PANDORA has grown from a two-man business 25 years ago into a team of 35 at its head office in Copenhagen, with over 100 employees serving North America.
Diana Classic comes from a heritage of the finest jewelry made. Krementz & Company created the first rings as a limited edition collection in 1925. Manufactured primarily with 18k gold, the collection was known for its high quality. It was the preferred wedding ring and bridal line among the elite group of carriage trade jewelers well into the 1970s. Due to increased demand, the company made the collection available to top jewelers across the country. In 1992, they renamed the collection Diana Classic in recognition of its timeless designs and elegant styling. Over time, the company added styles in platinum, 14k and 18k gold, and most recently in palladium.
